Dude this is amazing, looks really good and I can see that you're pushing RPGmaker hard! I hope you're still working on this game. I love it
I remembered to water the flowers! I wish I hadn't.
10/10 game and it's not even finished. Every time I look at a microwave I think back to this game and that moment.
I really can't wait for the rest of this game! The humor, the music and the pixel art is all top notch. The game is a fantastic successor to Buggerworld, and I'm excited to see the full version!
hey! will edit this when finished w the game w a full review :-)!!
i encountered a bug of some sorts where, once i entered the battle with the microwave, i got a "failed to load" error message that would not go away, even when i finished the battle and closed out the game/restarted the game. this happened in BUGGERWORLD when i used the multiple target attack, but i could get around that. is there a way to fix this?
Sorry you're having such an odd error, I'm not sure there is any way around it as I've never encountered such an issue with anyone else. Any error SHOULD usually resolve itself upon exiting/skipping the thing that triggered it. :x
Loved it, very glad to see you making more games! Wonderful style, funny and impressive on a technical level considering it's still RPG Maker. I can't wait for more.
I remembered to water my flowers.
I enjoyed the demo a lot! Excited to see what's next for this game.
i love bugger world so im hyped!!
I love how this still has the same vibe as Buggerworld, but is still distinct. Also looks like theres a more developed story? I'm super excited for the rest. Does the ending mean you plan to release it sometime next year? I'll go water my flowers till then.
Being like BUGGERWORLD with more bells and whistles is what I hoped for. A proper release will require fixing serious crash/freeze issues and I may end up porting the whole project to a new platform instead.
Thank you for watering the flowers.
can't wait for the full version, the demo was pretty fun :O
10 crunchily toasted loafs out of 10
Thank you for playing, I deeply appreciate it! Did you water the flowers?
thanks for reminding me to do that :3c
A very nice game! At first I was galled to play as a d*g, even an artificial, kitchen appliance one. But when the game bravely depicted rats as the vile, verminous, vindictive and conniving creatures they are, I was won over.
This is a lightly toasted slice of artisanal pane Toscano of a game.
Finally a piece of media that shows folks what rats are really like, and who is truly top dog. Thank you so much for playing my toast-based walking sim!
Can't get past the hibernation part. I've tried setting my windows date ahead a year after the force quit and reloading but that doesn't work. I've tried everything in game and nothing worked so I think this is a bug or an unclear end to the demo (posting because I found some sprites in the files that suggest there is maybe another room). I'm using windows 11.
The hibernation is indeed the end of the demo, thank you for playing through it! There is large content area right near the end of the game you can still get to with your last save. Have you watered the plants today?
really excited to try this!! i loved BUGGERWORLD
AHH I can't play because I'm on mac but I'm soo excited to watch a playthrough because you're one of my favorite devs AND BUGGERWORLD WAS SO GOOD!!!!
If you'd like I can make a Mac version and add that to the download list, it's very easy :D
Yes please! thank you!
a .7zip Mac version is now available! If you need a .rar version instead tell me, I'm also not sure exactly how the mac deployment functions but hopefully it'll work hunky dory.
